Effective Date: August 23, 2026
Operated by: MENE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SERVICE
1. Acceptance of Agreement
By registering, installing, or deploying Mene Business ("the Software" / "the App"), your business organization agrees to these Terms of Service. If you are accepting on behalf of an enterprise or business entity, you represent that you have legal authority to bind that entity.
2. Description of Service & Commercial Use
Mene Business provides cloud-synchronized inventory management, Point-of-Sale (POS) cashier checkout, commercial invoicing, multi-branch tracking, and business analytics utilities.
3. Account Responsibilities & Staff Access
- The primary business administrator is responsible for maintaining the security of master account credentials and assigning appropriate permission levels to cashiers and staff.
- You are strictly responsible for all transactions, cash voids, inventory adjustments, and discount overrides executed under your organization's user accounts.
4. Hardware Interoperability & Peripheral Compatibility
While Mene Business is designed to interface with standard Bluetooth thermal receipt printers (ESC/POS), USB barcode scanners, and cash drawers, MENE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SERVICE does not warrant flawless operation with uncertified or custom hardware firmware.
5. Merchant Data Ownership
- Your Data: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights over your commercial transactions, product databases, pricing strategies, and customer logs.
- Service License: You grant Mene Software Development Service a limited, secure license solely to host, backup, synchronize, and process your data to deliver the software functionality.
6. Subscription Terms & Commercial Licensing
- Advanced capabilities (multi-store sync, unlimited staff seats, enterprise reporting) are offered through recurring monthly or annual commercial plans.
- Subscription billing is handled via Google Play Billing or approved payment processors.
- Failure to renew subscription tiers may revert the account to single-register local operation without loss of underlying historical sales data.
7. Limitation of Commercial Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MENE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SERVICE shall not be liable for any lost profits, lost business revenue, inventory discrepancies, electrical power outages, hardware failures, or business interruption arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
