This Privacy Policy applies to the MeneLearn mobile application and associated web services operated by MENE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES ("Mene", "we", "us", or "our").
1. Information We Collect
When you use MeneLearn, we collect information directly provided by you, automatically gathered from your device, and processed through third-party services:
A. Account & Profile Information
- Registration Data: Name, email address, profile picture (if using Google or Firebase Sign-In).
- Learning Data: Course enrollments, quiz results, streak counters, bookmark items, and progress status.
B. Subscription & Financial Data
- MeneLearn processes subscriptions through Google Play Billing and the Apple App Store.
- We do not collect or store your credit card or financial account numbers on our servers. All transaction details are safely processed by Google or Apple. We receive only transaction receipt tokens to confirm active premium status.
C. Automatically Collected Usage Data
- App crash reports, device model, operating system version, and anonymous usage analytics.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data strictly to:
- Provide, maintain, and synchronize your learning progress across devices.
- Verify active premium subscriptions and unlock paid features.
- Send optional study reminders and streak notifications.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations under the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
3. Account & Data Deletion Requests
You have the right to request full deletion of your MeneLearn account and associated learning data at any time.
- In-App: Go to Settings → Account → Request Account Deletion.
- Web Portal: Visit mene.app/account-deletion and submit your registered email.
- Email Request: Email us at contact@mene.app with the subject "MeneLearn Account Deletion Request".
Upon confirmation, your account data and learning records will be permanently removed from our active database within 30 days.
